Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to ChartFlow ("we," "our," or "us"). We operate chart.flowingpulse.com and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our chart visualization platform.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store your plaintext password.

Chart Configurations: We store your saved chart settings, including chart types, color schemes, and display preferences.

Notion API Tokens: If you choose to connect Notion, we store your API tokens securely with access restricted to your account only. We never access or store your Notion database content — it is fetched in real-time and displayed directly to you.

Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics including page views and feature usage to improve our service.

Payment Information: Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your credit card number or PayPal credentials. We receive only a transaction confirmation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the ChartFlow service, including storing your chart configurations, authenticating your account, and displaying your saved charts. We may also use anonymized data for analytics and product improvement.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on: (a) your consent when you create an account; (b) performance of our contract to provide the service; and (c) our legitimate interest in improving the platform and ensuring security.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your chart configurations are stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Your Notion API tokens are stored securely with access restricted to your account via authentication and row-level security. Raw Notion data is never stored on our servers. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time to remove all associated data.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences (e.g., theme, language). These are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner.

7. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication and database, Vercel for hosting, and the Notion API for real-time data fetching. Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Your Rights

Access: You can view your account data at any time through your dashboard.

Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@chart.flowingpulse.com.

Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.

Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own (e.g., AWS regions). By using ChartFlow, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

10. Children's Privacy

ChartFlow is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
